As part of building up applied research R&D we are now looking for a senior hydraulics research engineer to Hiab in Hudiksvall.
The job responsibilities include:
Your duties are mainly hydraulic system design, where the hydraulics is coupled with mechanics and electronics.
For the design and simulation of hydraulics, mechanics and control circuits we use Matlab / Simulink among other tools.
We have a well-equipped lab, where we can test components as well as complete machinery.
The work includes independent work in development projects, often in collaboration with one of our suppliers, and also to specify, and to some extent participate in, testing.

The control system comprises both hydraulics and electronics, and at is essential to tune it together with the mechanical system to create good dynamic behavior for the complex system that a loader crane is. We offer to work with challenging research projects in a team of very qualified engineers.
Our expectations:
In order to be successful in this position we believe you fulfil the following criteria:
Ph.D. or Master's degree with hydraulics and control theory as specialization and with experience from modelling and simulation.
As a senior hydraulics engineer, you have experience from hydraulic system design and from simulation of control circuits.
Since we are working in an international environment with customers and suppliers abroad, a good knowledge of at least English, both spoken and written, is required.
Keen to take initiatives.
Service-oriented, flexible and self-driven.
