Tasks: Do you want to take the next step and design the technique that will be installed? We are currently looking for designer, specializing in climate systems/Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) as well as water systems. At the department of Technical Plant Systems (TPS) we are approximately 50 coworkers responsible for the unique auxiliary systems and peripheral power systems, to HVDC plants worldwide.
As designer, your primary task will be conceptual design of these systems while considering detail design aspects, and to supervise the installation and commissioning on site and perform the sub-system tests. You should be experienced in calculations, mechanical/electrical design, commissioning concerning climate system/Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) and water systems.
It will be your mission to ensure the quality of the delivered sub-system including all documentation is handed over to the customer is correct and that the data from the site is documented accordingly.
You will be supported by skilled colleagues and by our technical responsible who manages the designers. During installation and commissioning, you will have the opportunity to get to know interesting places around the world as you will spend between one to four months on site.
The department in Ludvika is HVDC?s Global Execution Center, but you might also conduct some design work at our Local Execution Centers around the globe. As you will travel frequently and collaborate with engineers from all over the world, you should enjoy getting to know other cultures, be fluent in written and spoken English. Naturally, you are attentive to details and interested in the exciting technology that HVDC offers. Requirements: The successful candidate holds:
• A Bachelor/Master in Engineering within Mechanic Design of Climate System/Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) and water systems, combined with a few years of work experience.
• Minimum 3 years work experience within the installation and commissioning.
• Knowledge about Energy Plus, AutoCAD is beneficial.
