The Chassis Europe organization has developed great the last couple of years. We are an organization with continues improvement on top of our agenda. Now you have the opportunity to be part of and contribute to our next steps.
The organization consists of two plants. In the Borås plant chassis are assembled and chassis material packed. In the Uddevalla plant we have our frame welding operation. We employ ~500 people.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Volvo Buses is now seeking an experienced HR Manager within Chassis Europe, who are passionate about the HR profession and willing to take on the challenge of HR business Management, leadership and securing the strategic objectives for the future. You are also part of the VBC HR network together with HR Managers from our other plants and regional functions. You will lead the Chassis Europe plants HR department with two employees. You will be located in Borås and have responsibility for both the Borås plant and the Uddevalla plant. As HR Manager you are responsible for driving, developing and coordinate all kind of HR issues to all employees.

Your main focus will be to:
• Support and drive our overall factory objectives and culture with a special focus on HR, Safety, Health and Wellbeing aspects
• Operative responsible and drive competence development
• Operative responsible and driver of talent management
• Drive and support labor relations
• Driving change management within the HR organization by using our Lean@buses
Required knowledge/experience
In this position you will be part of the Borås Plant Management team and report to Head of Chassis Operations. To be successful in your new role we want you have the following knowledge/experience:
• Passion for developing people, operations and product and taking advantage of the full diversity of the team
• At least 5 years' experience in a senior management position, deep knowledge and experience of HR, Safety, Healt & Wellbeing
• Experience of Manufacturing
• Appropriate academic qualifications in Human Resources, Business or a related field required
• Great communication skills in Swedish and English, spoken and written
