HSE manager and Nordic coordinator
If you have a passion for the Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) area this is an opportunity for you at Icopal Entreprenad. We are looking for a person who is capable to inform and enthuse his/hers colleagues to realize the purpose of working preventively with these issues. You will get the chance to work both strategically and operational with all of the sites, all the while working proactively supporting the organization in performing the activities associated with HSE. The main mission for you will be to improve the knowledge of HSE and following up on the results of that effort.
Main duties:
This is a new and important role at Icopal Entreprenad. You will have the management's strong support in developing the HSE work in the organization. The key purpose in this role is managing HSE for Sweden, support the country manager and the operational leadership at installation areas in HSE issues and coordinating HSE for the countries within the Nordic region. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory and group requirements using expertise in the larger company group. This role also includes reporting within HSE, inspections at work places, keeping safety dialogues with your colleagues and a responsibility for the psychosocial work environment plans. Your assignment will be to ensure that risks are identified for key activities and that risk assessments are carried out and that they are well communicated to all parties. Doing so coordinating and training supervisory managers and fitters in the company.
Qualifications:
We believe that you are experienced in the HSE area and that you have at least three years in this field. You have a Bachelor's Degree in Safety, Engineering or an equivalent combination of education, training and construction experience. Your knowledge in legal requirements concerning HSE is deep.
To be the right person for this role, your way of working needs to be defined by drive which makes you spark an interest for these areas in the rest of the organization. Doing so we think that you have excellent communications skills. You are self-motivated and you have the ability to plan and execute activities with minimal supervision. You naturally take accountability and ensure that milestones are met on time.
It is highly meritorious if you have overall understanding of construction processes and you have to have an interest in identifying and championing new ideas along with an ability to drive the necessary changes to implement.
