Our patented zinc and manganese technology is transforming stationary energy storage, providing a safer and more affordable solution. Headquartered in Stockholm, we are on the cusp of establishing the world's first mega-factory for zinc-ion batteries, the Enerpoly Production Innovation Center (EPIC), and we are actively seeking a dedicated HSE coordinator.
This will be your role
As the HSE Coordinator at Enerpoly, you will, through operational and strategic work, lead initiatives in health, safety, environment, and quality with a focus on creating a secure and sustainable work environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Staying updated and ensuring compliance with national and local regulations regarding health, safety, and the environment.
• Educating and developing staff to promote a culture of safety, environmental consideration, and quality excellence.
• Leading and implementing environmental permits for production.
• Investigating and addressing incidents, near misses, and hazardous conditions for continuous improvement.
• Maintaining records, conducting inspections, and audits.
• Developing and implementing emergency response plans and drills.
• Reporting to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and collaborating with HR.

Moreover, if you also possess the following qualifications and skills, we might be the right match for each other:
• 3+ years in safety/occupational health, ideally in manufacturing, chemical industry, or life sciences, with prior safety-related tasks.
• Strong grasp of local and national manufacturing-related environmental, health, and safety regulations, including OSHA and environmental protection.
• Expertise in report writing, documentation maintenance, and policy creation/implementation for health and safety.
• Track record of enhancing safety culture and working with ISO certifications in HSE.
• Proficient in designing HSE training materials and conducting sessions for diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated leadership in engaging personnel, particularly in the HSE domain.
• Holds safety management certification or equivalent.
• Fluent in both Swedish and English.
