As our current HR Director will move on to new challenges within our organization, we are now looking to hire an HR Director for Sandvik Hard Materials, with overall responsibility for driving and coordinating group-common HR issues.
Key performance areas
The role of HR Director at Sandvik Hard Materials gives you the possibility to perform in a broad range of HR assignments and challenges. The responsibilities of the role include HR processes such as developing HR Strategies and KPI's in line with the SHM Business strategy, Talent Management, Employer Branding and Change, Competence Development and Performance Management but also ensuring compliance with HR rules and regulations. The HR Director will work as strategic support for the business: e.g., by being an active part of the SHM Executive Management Team, as well as the Global Management Group for SHM, and coaching managers in developing their employees and supporting change. The HR Director ensures quality assurance and alignment of all HR services within SHM. The HR director works closely with local HRA located at business entities in the Americas, Europe and Asia. The HR director is also a member of Sandvik Tooling?s HR management team and as such will be responsible to develop, support and implement Sandvik's HR strategies.
Your profile
As a minimum, the ideal candidate for this role has a professional education at bachelor's level, strong knowledge in personnel administration and management. At least five years of experience from personnel instruments is important, as well as operative and strategic management experience on a senior level. Experience in working with HR processes in an international environment is highly valued for this position. Candidates must have strong organizational abilities, interpersonal skills and solid personal integrity. Candidates should have the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships at all levels of the organization coupled with excellent communicative and advisory skills.
