You will
Be responsible for the Business Area Digital Services overall strategy definition and execution, ensuring long term competitiveness and profitability in the markets we decide to address
Outlining Strategic priorities for the Business Area
Communication and anchoring of strategy and strategy execution across the BA
Support Business Development including driving M&A and divestments
Drive business and competitor intelligence, securing an outside-in view and insights to decide strategy definition and execution
Support Solution Areas within Digital Services in their strategy creation and execution
You will lead a team of five and report to the head of R&D, Portfolio, and Strategy (RDPS) at BA Digital Services. Operationally you will have significant engagement with the Head of the BA and the complete BA LT
To be successful in the role you must have
Deep domain expertise in the areas of Strategy creation, Strategy execution, Business development and Business intelligence
Broad expertise and ability to take a wide view of the Telco and IT market, identify ground-breaking trends & opportunities, bring knowledge of market dynamics and market changes to the Business Area Leadership team
Solid track record in Analysis of market, industry, financial and competition, trends analysis and insight creation
Ability to coordinate with a multifaceted stakeholder map, inside the Business Areas, across Business Areas and corporate functions and with the Market Areas
Seniority to drive strategic discussions with executive leaders across the Business Area and the company
Strength in communication with clarity and impact
Leadership traits of emotional intelligence and humanness, confident and fact-based decisions, cooperation and collaboration, executing speedily and to build a genuine speak-up environment
Education: MBA or MSc, otherwise similar set of theoretical skills
Additional Requirements:
Extensive contact network inside and/or outside of the company
Good technology and portfolio understanding in the Telco and IT market
Good analytics skills with structured thinking
Previous line manager experience will be considered as advantage
Consulting experience or approach is a definite attraction
