Corporate & Donor Relations (CDR), part of the External Relations department, holds the overall responsibility for SSE's development and advancement activities. The CDR team cooperates closely with other functions in the External Relations department as well as with faculty and program directors throughout the SSE family. The CDR team is led by the Head of Corporate and Donors Relations who reports to the Director of External Relations and cooperates closely with the President.
As Head of Strategic Partnerships, you will work with potential and existing partners in the SSE Corporate Partnership Program. You will:
• Identify and attract new corporate partners, national as well as international
• Look for innovative ways to create value for potential partners
• Build and steward relationships with potential and current donors
• Work across the institution to identify the need and possibilities for private
support and ensure that gifts are used according to the donors' intent
• Cooperate with other parts of External Relations to build the foundation for
fundraising efforts
The position is strongly sales-oriented and operational.
We are looking for someone who:
• Has documented experience from sales, consulting and/or fundraising
• Knows how to build relationships inside and outside of the organization
• Is a skilled project manager
• Has exceptional spoken and written English and Swedish
• Has experience from international settings
• Is a service leader, cooperates readily and can set priorities
• Has a university degree
Experience from an academic setting is preferred but not required.
You will report to the Head of Corporate and Donor Relations.
