With a great market fit, we are building a suite of digital solutions across the manufacturing value chain under a new division - Sandvik Applied Manufacturing Technologies (SAMT). This division combines the enthusiasm of a fresh start-up, with the resources, tools and investment support of a veteran industry player. We're looking for a confident and business savvy Head of Strategic Customers to establish a solid foundation for successful sales and customer management across this digital multi-cultural arena. This role presents great chances for you to impact our business offering in a fast-growing market and to interact with key stakeholders all around the globe!

Use your customer management skills to strengthen our position as a number one player!
In this position, you're accountable for establishing profitable relationships with our key strategic customers within digital sales, and for ensuring a successful implementation of our global sales strategies, including processes and tools. By monitoring and reviewing our sales performance and by analyzing the market, you influence which tactics we should use and the key areas we should approach. You work closely with market counterparts and other key stakeholders within the Sandvik Group to enable a strong sales growth on a global scale, and you support the implementation and effective use of our CRM system. With your outstanding sales skills, you find successful ways to identify, interact, negotiate and close the deals we require to be a digital frontrunner.

The location for this position is flexible, although Sweden or Europe is preferable, and travel is included in your job.

Who you are makes all the difference!
We're looking for someone with a degree in Marketing or Business Administration. You have a solid background of at least ten years in a senior sales position in the industrial sector, including proven leadership ability and the technical skills needed for understanding digital offerings. To succeed in this position, it is imperative to have knowledge of Key Account Management, and of the financial effects and impacting laws, policies and procedures of doing business in a cross-cultural environment. You also have true understanding of the specific customers related to the manufacturing segment in which we operate. As we are a global player, you need advanced skills in English, and knowledge of another language such as Swedish, is beneficial.

With your confident and trusting personality, you're a master of customer management and you have a natural ability of establishing successful relationships. You enjoy acting in a diverse and complex environment, where speed and profitability go hand in hand. Self-motivation and grit are your cornerstones when facing challenges, and you have a talent for identifying business opportunities and closing important deals. Using your excellent communication skills, you influence and encourage the people around you and at the same time build a strong sales offering.
