About this opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced and visionary leader to head the Solution Area - Utilities and Rail within our Mission Critical Networks division. This role will drive solution development, oversee delivery excellence, and foster strong client relationships within utility and rail sectors. You will work closely with engineering, operations, and business development teams to ensure strategic growth and market leadership.
What you will do:
* Lead the development and execution of tailored solutions for utilities and rail customers.
* Champion innovation, ensuring offerings meet current and future industry requirements.
* Build and maintain strategic relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
* Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to ensure technical solutions align with customer needs.
* Oversee project delivery, performance, and quality outcomes.
* Identify market opportunities and steer business development activities.
The skills you bring:
* Significant experience in mission critical networks, utilities, or rail sectors.
* Deep understanding of operational and safety requirements in regulated industries.
* Commercial acumen with experience in solution development and market expansion.
Leadership requirements :
* Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in complex, safety-critical environments.
* Strong track record in mentoring and developing technical and commercial talent.
* Skilled at driving organisational change and fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
* Demonstrated capacity to influence at executive levels, internally and externally.
* Exceptional communication skills to clearly articulate vision and inspire teams.
