We are now looking for a Head of Software Pipelines & Support to secure Ericsson technology leadership. As Head of Software pipelines and support you will teach, coach, challenge and develop individuals, teams and organizations. You will foster a creative and learning culture. . This role will be a direct report to the Head of Solution Area Business & Operations Support Systems.
What you will do
Main Responsibilities:
Effectively build, lead, and develop a best-in-class Software Pipelines and Support organization, that transforms SA BOS and Ericsson current capabilities into a Dev Ops type model to effectively deliver Cloud Native based products over CI/CD pipelines with associated fully automated test suites, such that we can deliver software updates at zero SI cost to customers, and have major cost reductions in our initial SW deployments and SW upgrades.
Manage the day-to-day running of the SW pipeline infrastructure, ensuring effective support to PDUs and that relevant push notifcations sent to customers to handle LCM SW Updates.
Manage the day-to-day running of the automated test case libraries to ensure maximum efficiencies and savings from automated test suites.
Ensure that SA BOS can deliver an efficient as possible product support service in order to ensure ACoS budget is reduced as much as possible and margins are as high as possible.
Continuously build diverse talent to secure competitive competence
Key Attributes:
Understanding of key industry, technology and market trends, eg 5G, IoT, NFV, SDN, Open Source, Pipelines, DevOps, CI/CD etc
Knowledge of customer requirements and competitor offerings.
Experience in leading large R&D organizations through transformational change
Ability to create a ONE team approach through a strong collaboration within SA BOS and Market Areas.
Ability to build and retain competitive competence & diverse talent
Leadership:
Excels in execution: fix roadmap and deliver on commitments, makes prompt, clear decisions which may involve tough choices or considered risks
Courageous Leadership - ability to provide a clear direction, set appropriate standards of behaviour, motivate, and empower
Agile leadership - ability to effectively change direction and focus of the organization based on business & customer requirements
Enable people - Experience in running large R&D organizations and managing large global diverse matrix organizations.

You will bring
University degree in Engineering / ICT
Extensive track record of successfully achieving results in a complex cross functional organization.
Experienced in leading large R&D organizations
