What is the job about
You will drive strategic leadership for RSA Scandi Real Estate portfolio and ensure alignment to RSA "Be our Best" Strategy. Manage projects within our Real Estate portfolio, related to relocations, re-sizing and manage projects related to FM services and contracts. Provide steward ship to maximize our opportunities within our lease agreements. You will be the owner of the Property Budget.You will provide policy management ownership on behalf of the COO.
Early in the assignment you will need to separate the current country FM teams into what activities and HC should remain local to support the day to day processing of business and what activities and HC should be centralized into the Scandi FM organization - the Head of Real Estate and FM is expected to lead and facilitate this work.
The role resides in our Procurement Organization, however the role is a high exposure role working closely with several SET members around the strategic journey.
The role is located in Copenhagen or Malmö,reporting into Chief Procurement Officer.
You will beresponsible for - but not limited to:
• Identify, recommend and execute spend to save initiatives on capital assets and operational activities.
• Develop and execute a Property strategy that maximises cost out and optimises most effective use of available space
• Manage capital and revenue budgets related to the function. Develop strategic relationships with key suppliers.
• Identify opportunities to benchmark key functions against world leading capabilities and recommend and execute actions to ensure alignment with upper quartile commercial conditions
• Responsible for leading all FM/Property projects across Scandi offices, from initial planning through implementation to post project review.
Your skills and experience
You have experience in creating and driving a real estate strategy as part of an overall business strategy across multiple countries and sites. You are a strong communicator, with influencing and stakeholder management skills. You have a track record of delivering material savings in the FM area and experience of third party contract management particularly in the areas of Hard & Soft FM. You have a'can do' attitude and knowledge of, and a good contact network within, the Nordic commercial property market.
