About this opportunity:
The Head of Sourcing Network and Managed Services will have overall accountability for strategy development, alignment and delivery across a portfolio covering Site Services related to Network Rollout design, engineering services for new, extension, upgrade or change-out installations.
The Category Groups in scope are related to Approved Service Provider (ASP) and Approved Resource Providers (ARP) for customer related projects and Managed Services for the Maintenance services both for telecom and non-telecom equipment and infrastructure of the telecom sites.
You will be responsible for managing a spend of ~24 BSEK. The Leader is a member of the Global Sourcing Leadership Team contributing to Business Area strategy.
Primary location of the role is Kista, Sweden but for the right candidate we can consider other locations within European time zone.
Vetting including references and relevant background screening will be conducted for final candidates.
What you will do:
• Lead a Global Team of Category Managers and Sourcing Business Partners
• Develop, implement and drive Category Best Practice in close collaboration with Market Areas as well as Service and Product Portfolio Areas.
• Advance the strategic value of Network and Managed Services and implementing Sourcing best in class practices globally
• Drive Global solution introductions, profitability programs and 3rd party solutions with a "Boots on the Ground" approach.
• Engage with Market Area and Business Area leadership to develop strategies that deliver agreed upon financial and operational objectives.
• Drive process and policy simplification, governance and compliance
The skills you bring:
• University Degree, MBA or equivalent
• Minimum 12 years of relevant experience linked to the category which 3-5 years in Leadership Role
• Network and Managed Services domain knowledge
• Industry insight: Telecommunications and/or Tower Company
• OHS Knowledge & Skills
• Sourcing Practice, Process & Strategy Knowledge
• Category expertise preferably combined with experience with NRO/ASP work
• Deep understanding of resource cost drivers, competence requirements and time and motion studies
• Demonstrated understanding of industry structure, potential supply base globally as well as supply base of competition
• Strong business acumen
