Job Summary
The Internal Communications function informs, engages, listens to employees and facilitates transformation worldwide so that Tetra Pak effectively achieves its strategic goals and fulfil its brand promise, to Protect What's Good, while sustaining pride and passion in the organisation.
Are you ready for an exciting strategic position in Internal Communications?
We are looking for a talented Head of Internal Communications to support and accelerate a strategic and complex transformation programme at Tetra Pak. The candidate will be part of the Communications unit, reporting to the reporting to the Vice President Global Employee Communications.
This is a temporary position (maternity leave coverage), from January 2025 to the fall of 2026.
This position is based in our headquarter in Lund, Sweden. You will work in a global team supported by digital channels and collaboration tools.
What you will do
As Head of Internal Communications for our transformation programme called the Next Chapter System Platform (NCSP), you will join a global industry leader where our vision is to commit to making food safe and available, everywhere. You will lead the change communications workstream of NCSP, working in collaboration with the Programme Director and the programme's management team, and with colleagues in the Communications unit.
Responsibilities:
Design and lead the overall change communications plan to effectively and consistently communicate programme updates, changes, and objectives to stakeholders, employees, and other relevant parties.
Plan and execute change communications activities and tactics along with two Internal Communications Managers to support the rollout of the programme in the various geographies around the globe.
Represent Communications on the management team of the programme.
Partner with the programme's Change Management Lead to support execution of the change strategy.
Support and coach the Programme Director and their management team with their communications initiatives.
Work across units and multiple teams at Tetra Pak to ensure all stakeholders are engaged and informed about the programme.
Drive targeted external communications initiatives to engage suppliers and customers with the change.
Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of change communications activities, and course correct as needed to ensure the success of the rollout waves.
Collaborate with all members of the Internal Communications ecosystem to ensure a smooth interface between the programme and our wider Internal Communications strategy and priorities.

We believe you have
You have a proven track record in leading and executing successful change communications plans within complex transformation programmes. As an expert writer and editor (native English level), you excel in leveraging internal communications channels to their full potential. You have a deep understanding of business processes and demonstrate high levels of business acumen, particularly within the areas of processes and transformation. Your ability to turn complex and highly strategic topics into simple, compelling stories that engage employees is exceptional. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, adeptly managing multiple topics simultaneously. Collaboration is easy for you and you enjoy working within a team and across units, engaging with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation. Your ability to build trust and use informal authority to motivate and influence people is strong.
You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
You have a minimum of ten years of experience in internal communications or change communications.
Your presentation skills, visual communication, and content creation abilities are top-notch.
You are proficient in digital communication tools and thrive in an increasingly digital world.
Experience with data analytics and measurement tools to assess the effectiveness of communication strategies.
You're able to work independently, have strong project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
