As Head of HR NEA, you will be a crucial part in the continuous development of the Northern Europe Area organization and supporting the Nordic leadership team achieving their growth.

The office location is in Malmö but have direct reports in other countries, and travels to the other Nordic countries and Estonia will be needed. This function reports to the People and Culture Director Northern Europe and UK.

Huvudsakliga arbetsuppgifter
The Head of HR Northern Europe will have an operational as well as strategic role. The Head of HR is leading a team of HR professionals across Nordic countries. This will demand good leadership skills from your side to be able to keep the team spirit high, manage multiple stakeholders and share best practices across the region. Some of the main responsibilities and broad range of activities such as:

• talent attraction
• succession planning
• participate in various types of HR projects.
• recruitment
• compensation & benefits
• training & development
• health & safety
• industrial relations
• support development of regional leadership team

As Head of HR Northern Europe Area your key responsibilities will be to lead and steer the Nordic HR function by focusing on deploying People and Culture priorities and translate them to local needs and best practices within NEA.

Together with your team you will support the country managers and other functional managers in the business to conduct to new challenges and changing demands. Head of HR NEA is a full member of the Nordic Leadership Team and work closely with the MD for NEA who is based in Malmö.

As Head of HR, you will also manage the salary review process, including its budget, and the job evaluation systems. You will also be responsible for implementing and upholding efficient processes for performance management and continuous organizational development. You will also be responsible for carrying out the Group HR policies and ensure that all activities are aligned with global strategy as well as with specific country regulations in all Nordic countries.

Lämplig bakgrund
To be able to take on this role we believe that you need to have a university degree within the Human Resources or similar area as well as several years of experience from a similar role in a middle-sized industrial company operating in a multi-site international environment. You are comfortable handling change management initiatives in a matrix organization, while maintaining sustainable relationships with stakeholders.

To be able to succeed in the role you need good knowledge of labor law and some international experience from the area as well as skills MS-office as well as e-tools. For this position fluent spoken and written Swedish and English is needed and if you master any of the other Nordic languages this is regarded a merit. Since the team is in different countries you need to be able to travel throughout the Nordic Area.

You also need excellent interpersonal and communication skills to be able to contribute to an entrepreneurial environment. In this role you need to be a team player with a can-do attitude and at the same time be result oriented with an ability to handle conflicts in a professional manner. You are used to lead the work in several projects simultaneously and have an analytical way of working. Furthermore, you can work independently, proactively and with a high degree of integrity.
