hela Sverige The rise of the sharing economy, urbanization, a growing concern for the environment and improvements in technology (IOT) have all spurred the question: is there a better way to get around? This has triggered brands and cities to develop technologies and services that offer more convenient, efficient, and flexible ways to travel. Now that people have the choice, car sharing is literally exploding in number of users around the world. From only 350.000 in 2006, the number of car sharing users is expected to exceed 23 million in 2024.
This backdrop from which Volvo Cars has decided to launch a new global multiservice mobility venture. Volvo Cars has 20-30 years of experience in car sharing (Sunfleet) and Rental (Hertz) and the new venture will be able to draw from a vast base of experience.
It's a once in a lifetime opportunity to be part of the team that now, based in Stockholm, will build the new company and globalize and scale the multiservice mobility offer for customers in many markets. Our new business will be 100% digitalized; starting from the customer and working ourselves backwards. Our future success lies in our ability to utilize technology to our advantage and develop an offer that is responding to real customer needs. This is a fast-up, and will develop the solutions ourselves. We will be act and work independent from our owner Volvo Cars, most likely under a separate brand name, but with the back-up and support of a progressive and experienced global actor.
We are looking for a small, able, growth minded team. We need experience and energy to develop a fully equipped new brand and operational model for pilots and later, global roll out. We will offer a unique opportunity to grow and impact from a very personal aspect. Therefore, personal accountability and strong team player capabilities are expected.
We are looking for Head of Finance/Deputy CFO!
You will be responsible for the Finance department at Volvo Mobility including controlling and accounting activities. The position is based at the headquarters in Stockholm and reports to the CFO.
Key accountabilities:
* Effectively establish and lead the finance and accounting division, including continuous improvement directives. Establish, develop and coach team.
* Conduct meaningful proactive analysis to improve key business decisions. Provide useful financial insights to help make better decisions about executing business strategy.
* Drive the annual budget process and the monthly reporting including international aggregation. Ensure all supporting documents for accounting and reporting exist.
* Proactively manage cash flow, financial capital, and effectively manage sponsor, bank, board of director and financial advisor relationships.
* Structure, negotiate, and finalize purchase agreements
Qualifications
* Preferably a Master's degree in Finance or Accounting
* 10+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance, 3+ years as a CFO or Vice President Finance
* Experience in start-up or entrepreneurial environment
