As Head of Engineering, Advisory & Real Estate Services, you lead your team of Segment leaders and commodity buyers to perform and transform, managing Supply Partners relationship, cross functional collaboration, and driving global segment strategies.
You also promote and ensure a strong collaboration between Buyers globally thereby capitalizing on regional inputs towards segment strategies, negotiation tactics and leveraging all possible opportunities.
Your main segments are: Engineering Services, Advisory Services, Real Estate consultants.

Main focus
* Be a member of the Services Purchasing Leadership team and actively contribute to the development of the department
* Build up a high performing team: Connect people's talents and passion to the organisation's purpose, and develop strong competences
* Create an environment where people enjoy working and feel valued
* Drive and implement the segment strategies, ensure global ways of working and make sure we capture all synergies and optimize the global Volvo business
* Find the right business partners and manage selection/relationship/ partnership and negotiation.
* Take ownership for the purchasing deliverables: Quality, Delivery, Cost, Feature, Technology, Sustainability, Risk mitigation
* Drive digital transformation and innovation
* Nurture a culture promoting Partnerships and new business models
* Challenge, question, improve yourself, your team, and your scope
* Speak up, influence to create positive change
* Ensure collaboration with the other managers within the respective segment(s), with Trust and Integrity
Required Competence & Experience
* Relevant University degree in Engineering/technology and/or Business Administration
* Strong Strategic and Leadership skills
* Ability to build a high performing Team with a clear sense of purpose
* Ownership mentality
* Knowledgeable in current and future business trends, technology and markets
* Ability to lead and execute in a global, matrix organization
* Ability to face problems and act quickly and directly. Provide direct & actionable feedback
* Ability to manage complex situations, handle uncertainty and ambiguity, and hold things together during tough times
* Ability to embrace diversity and be inclusive
