The Head of Content leads the in-house Content Team within Communications. The team is responsible for producing and sourcing all content - copy, photography and film - across all areas of the Communications department.
What you will do
The Content Team's mission is to provide a single port of call for all teams within Communications that need content. As the manager of the team, the Head of Content is responsible for allocating resources where and when needed, including working with external suppliers where necessary. They ensure a common theme and consistency to all content, underpinned by the same strategic ambition, high quality, efficient delivery and adherence to brand and house guidelines.
Main responsibilities
We are looking for a senior leader who will be responsible for the production and on-time delivery of consistent high-quality content for all communication needs. You will manage seven direct reports and allocate resources where and when needed and ensure there is a common theme and consistency to all content. Main responsibilities involve the coordination of content and messaging with the PR team, the four Business Areas, Employee Communications, plus other relevant project teams and stakeholders throughout the company.
In this role, you work with project managers on content strategy and ensure all content generated is relevant for all media platforms as well as lively, differentiated and high quality. Further, you develop a consistent, cohesive and strategic approach to Communications content production and development. You manage relationships with external production agencies for film and photography projects and manage the content budget.
Required qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in content production management, communication and/or journalism
• Production experience across all types of content - copy, film, photography and graphic design
• Excellent proofreading skills
• Fluent in English, oral and written
• Knowledge of other languages is a merit
• International experience is a merit

Ideally, we are looking for someone with an agency background who can manage and allocate projects with a regard for time and resource investment and schedule workflows in accordance with deadlines. We believe that you are a are a flexible and proactive team player and motivator with excellent motivational skills and capability to manage international teams. You work and deliver against strict deadlines and manage a team steered to do the same. As a person you are result-driven and enthusiastic.
To succeed in this role, you are a strategic and critical thinker with business acumen - capable of actively understanding, applying and strengthening brand and corporate strategy through messaging.
