We are now looking for a new colleague to take on the challenge as Global Lead, Strategic Negotiation at our global Head office in Stockholm.
Overall responsibilities in role
• Serve as sounding board to help teams improve negotiation set-ups and tactics
• Lead negotiations or participate "at the table" if requested
• Provide strategic, commercial perspective to complement legal and technical expertise
• Devise creative deal design ideas to align contractual agreements with H&M interests
• Lead organizational capacity-building around key areas such as strategic tendering
• Review major contracts with a focus on risk mitigation and value optimization
Your qualifications
• Minimum of ten years leading major negotiations, including those with a value of 5 billion SEK and higher
• Demonstrated record of conducting negotiations of all of the following types:
Intellectual property
Mergers & acquisitions
Labor/ employment
Joint ventures
• Minimum of three years teaching negotiation in a university setting, either full-time or as an adjunct professor
• Minimum of three years employment with a publicly traded multinational corporation
• At least two previous roles as a manager with direct reports
• Previous work experience with postings in at least five different countries
• Fluency in at least three languages
• Ability to draft legal agreements in English at a native-equivalent level
• MBA degree
