Concept Centre and Pilot Plant (CC/PP) develop physical test objects in early stage. The department consist of approximately 250 persons in eleven different groups.
We are currently looking to strengthen the Concept Engineering team with an innovative and experienced Group manager for the group Concept engineering whit 17 employees. Concept Engineering supports the development of prototypes and test objects at Concept Centre with CAD models and prototype tooling. The challenge in this position is to be a part of a team and come up with the best solutions to develop our future physical test objects and concept cars for both internal and external exhibitions. Our department works with single items and complete cars for internal customers within R&D but also for Market, Design and Manufacturing.
Main responsibilities
* Be responsible for the overall management and long-term reliability of the Group 's development and results
* Together with a driven team develop physical prototypes and test objects
* Create opportunities for the employees to develop according to our Aspired Culture
* Ability to create confidence among employees and develop effective team
* Create and operate through the network together with our customers and schools
* Internal safety and environmental performance
* Be a part of Pilot Plant & Concept Centre Management Team
Required qualifications
* Experience in Prototype development
* Experience in Prototype tooling development
* Technical education or equivalent experience
* Fluent in English, spoken and written
* Good knowledge of catia v5 and teamcenter
* Good knowledge of Windows based applications
* Management experience is meritorious
* Good knowledge of the whole vehicle meritorious
