Supplier Geometry Management (SGM) are the Procurement global responsible to lead and secure the prerequisites to reach the overall manufacturing Feasibility and Geometry assurance of supplier processes, functions and commodities to secure the Geometrical manufacturing feasibility in the AE phases, the geometrical quality in the GPDS phases as well as the life time capability in running production. SGM takes active part in the selection and development of suppliers to provide the highest Geometric quality and capability to achieve Excellency in supplier processes and world-class customer satisfaction and safety.
As Supplier Geometry Manager, you will be responsible for the Supplier Quality Management (SQM) team of senior Geometry Leaders that act as experts throughout the complete Global SQM organization. The mission is to manage, lead and develop Volvo Cars supplier base in order to assure strong relationships and high standards in regards to contracted geometry deliverables.
You will belong to Volvo Car Group's Procurement Unit and report to the SQM Director.
Main Responsibilities
Develop, implement and maintain World Class Excellency in the Geometry prioritized areas of commodities and supplier processes.
Execute policy deployment of Geometry and Manufacturing Feasibility processes.
Act as Technical Experts within the Geometry and manufacturing feasibility area.
Lead, educate, train and coach the SQM and purchasing resources in Geometry areas.
Develop and Drive our suppliers and SQM's to be data driven and preventive to avoid quality problems in the Volvo Car Group's Assembly plants globally.
Leverage and implement the Volvo Car Group's Best practice Geometry methods, processes and tools.
In order to succeed in this role we believe you have extensive competence and experience from geometry assurance area. Meritorious is cross-functional experience of Volvo Car Corporation and supplier processes, and/or insights in the plant deliverables in processes within the Geometry area.
Required qualifications
You communicate in and manage the English language very well.
You have extensive experience of leadership and networking.
You have a high degree of integrity, social skills and the ability to create long-term relationships with employees, colleagues and stakeholders.
You are curious to learn and very good of inspire and motivate your surroundings.
You are structured, strategic, systematic and result oriented.
You are able to understand and interpreter the virtual product concepts and systems solutions into feasible production and product capability & geometrical final demand quality.
