Complete Powertrain is a vital part of Powertrain Engineering and the section has the overall responsibility for the system integration of all components and systems which together build a Complete Powertrain delivery. This includes the responsibility for features- and quality-fulfillment of the complete powertrain.
Responsibilities / Main tasks
We are looking for a Group Manager to lead Embedded System configuration & verification team. Your team is responsible to secure the correct SW-configuration for our different products at any time. You are also in charge to perform the Verification of the final Software & dataset (dst) with the support of the tool chain included in our Software-Factory (CI) before release.
You and your future team will work closely with the other teams in the Powertrain SW community to develop our way of working aiming for more automatic tests before release.
Your team is responsible to collaborate globally to maximize the reuse of infrastructure and tests, to maximize our verification coverage.
Structure and continuous improvement are guiding stars for you and your team. They and I, believe that the best products are delivered together - which is why one of your main responsibilities and tasks are to engage, inspire, coach and collaborate with others, both your team and stake holders inside and outside of the organization.
You have employee responsibility for direct reports including recruitment, performance and competence development.
Who are you?
We see that you as a person have a high level of energy with ability to contribute to a high performing working culture. A positive mindset "can do attitude" and team work characterizes your personal profile. Experience from SW-development is a merit, but not a requirement.
You are holding a Master of Science or similar
You have proven experience as a technical leader and a drive for results.
Finding solutions and always try to develop both yourself and the ways of working is a part of your DNA.
Genuine interest in understanding how our products are used and how we should develop the systems to meet the legal, customer and society demands
Communication and cooperation skills are essential for this role.
