Exterior development is looking for new employees
The first thing you will notice on a car is the exterior. Would it not be both exciting and challenging to work in
this area?

people? Join us as GDL for both quality in running production and new car development programs.
The section Exterior System contains of 4 groups, Exterior Lighting Concept, Exterior Lighting Program
Execution, Cleanings Systems and Roof System & Mirrors.
At Exterior Systems you are part of a global cross functional development team with a close cooperation with
the Volvo teams in China and the US. The section has a close cooperation with Full Service Suppliers from different
countries and continents. As our parts have an electrical and functional content and also is a clear part of the design element, there are contacts with the Styling/Product Design department, the Electrical department as well as Purchasing for the FSS questions and Manufacturing and the different plants.
As a GDL we expect you to take the lead for quality, support the section with early analysis and implementation of solutions for potential quality concerns, and task forces for the section. You will represent all Exterior System technical areas, Exterior Lighting, Cleaning, Roof systems and Mirrors, this means both parts and functions.
Main/Key responsibilities & deliveries
* Responsible to for early analysis for Exterior System in cooperation with the CMQ/VRT team
* Responsible to lead the team quality activities
Required qualifications
* Master of Science/ Bachelor Degree or equivalent
* Fluent in English and Swedish, written and spoken
* Driver's license B
* Experience from VCC and internal IT system

* Team player
* Good communication and social skills
* Have a fact based mind set during problem solving
* Capacity to drive several issues simultaneously
* Result oriented and flexible with focus to get the job done
* Structured and analytic
