Overview of the role
In order to better understand and optimize the business in all Espresso House markets and brands, we are now establishing the role Business analyst. Reporting to the Business controller, the Business analyst will play a key role in gathering, analyzing and presenting sales, operational and cost data for top management in order to steer the group in the right direction. For the right candidate, the role will be a great platform for fast learning and an opportunity to run projects in the area of interest. The role is located at the group headquarter in Stockholm, but with travelling based on need and the candidate's preferences.
Tasks and Responsibilities
As Business analyst you will:
• Gather, analyze and present data related to sales, operations and costs for Espresso House Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland, Johan & Nyström and Balzac Coffee Company in Germany
• Oversee and drive major improvements of the Business Intelligence platform
• Create and perform trainings in business control and business intelligence, as well as related tools, for managers of operations
• Create monthly group reporting and ensure management- and other reporting is relevant for the audience
• Lead analytical projects together with various stakeholders within the Espresso House Group
• Perform ad hoc analysis, e.g. related to larger investments and cost efficiency
• Support budget and forecasting processes

We are looking for a candidate that is motivated to learn, positive and eager to improve Espresso House operations. In order to be successful in the role as Business analyst, we think that you:
• Have a Bachelor/Master within engineering or economics/finance
• Are analytical and have an interest in understanding underlying reasons to sales behavior, operations and cost trends
• Are skilled in building relationships
• Speak and write fluent English
