We are looking for an experienced accounting colleague to join our Group Accounting team. Are you interested?

Group Accounting is responsible for consolidation and reporting for the Volvo Car Group. As Group Accountant your work will include consolidating the Volvo Car Group on a monthly basis in accordance with IFRS and to report to our owner and Senior Management. The team also handles legal statutory reporting for the group in Sweden. The work will involve taking an active part in different internal projects and therefore it is crucial that the person enjoy working with process development in a global environment. The position requires extensive contact with all our subsidiaries over the world and with the different functions within Volvo Car Corporation. Working in the Group Accounting team gives you a big opportunity to a wide circle of contacts as well as getting a comprehensive and holistic view of the financial activities within the group. We are searching for a skilled and experienced person who wants to be part of a proactive team within a dynamic environment.
Main responsibilities
• Monthly closing activities
• Provide accounting and reporting guidance to the organisation
• Participate in the statutory reporting process
• Proactively drive process development
• Participate in different internal projects
• Ad hoc analysis and investigations on accounting implications
Required qualifications
• University degree or equivalent in Business Administration/Finance with a major in Accounting
• At least 5 years of relevant experience
• Solid accounting experience and consolidation in an international environment
• Good knowledge in Excel, preferably also in Hyperion FM
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
