Your future challenge
You will be part of the product area Lead Systems Integration at the business unit Airborne Surveillance Systems within the business area Electronic Defence Systems. As trainee, you will coordinate different Saab product units to ensure that the sub products support the integrated business case. You will also participate in our strategic planning; ensuring a profitable portfolio over time as well making sure that our products fit Saabs strategic goals. Further, you will participate in marketing and sales activities as well as support the Marketing and Sales department to ensure that the market communication is in line with our product plans. This also includes supporting sales with customer solutions and keeping yourself updated on market trends and competitors solutions in order to keep an attractive portfolio.
You will become part of a unit consisting of highly experienced product and program managers, exciting development opportunities as well as skilled colleagues engaged and committed to produce excellent results. And as your role requires extensive cooperation with various business areas within Saab, you will create a strong internal network.

Are you a future leader?
To be a successful graduate, you need a university degree within Engineering and/or Economy. You are recently graduated or have approximately of two years’ work experience. Preferably in combination with a basic understanding of business economics and system development processes. It is also important that you rather have a broad than deep technical understanding as well as the ability to acknowledge and act upon unsolved questions. If you have experience from civil or military training in aviation, it is an advantage.
As we are looking for future leaders, you must have the right motivation and drive to deliver excellent results. You must show potential for business understanding and strategic thinking. Good collaboration and communication skills are essential as well as the ability to motivate and involve your coworkers. You also need to be a curious and humble team player with commitment and a lot of energy. As Saab is a global company, you need an intercultural mind-set and, of course, great English skills. International experience will be to your advantage.
The position entails working with classified information and requires Swedish citizenship.
