Dometic is now recruiting a Global Sustainability Officer - who shares the Dometic-values and purpose in making outdoor living easy. As Global Sustainability Officer, you will have the overall responsibility for managing Dometic's group-wide sustainability function. You will work closely with the business teams from different segments and functions to drive, monitor and follow up on sustainability matters.
Main responsibilities:
Advise and support Dometic's Group management team in further strengthening and developing the group-wide sustainability work.
Develop a long-term sustainability agenda as well as orchestrating its implementation and follow up throughout the organization.
Identify and assess sustainability compliance requirements related to the Dometic operations.
Develop and maintain procedures to ensure that applicable sustainability requirements are well implemented and followed throughout the organization.
Work with Dometic segment organizations to support the implementation of the procedures, including by conducting training.
Coordinate the group's sustainability reporting.
Pro-actively monitor the development of new laws and regulations and analyze the impact thereof on the business.
Follow up on sustainability issues in the operations and report directly to the Group General Counsel and Group Management.
Drive continuous improvement regarding the sustainability work.
The Global Sustainability Officer is located at the Swedish HQ in Solna Strand - and will be reporting to the General Counsel.
Who are you? We are looking for an experienced sustainability professional - with a relevant university degree, probably in engineering and/or sustainability. You have experience from working with sustainability in a manufacturing industry - preferably with factories/sites all over the world, which has given you thorough understanding and knowledge of sustainability in regards to supply chain and manufacturing processes, as well as touching on circularity challenges. Naturally, you have a strong passion for sustainability - and you use your high level of drive and commitment to spread this passion throughout the organization. You have a high level of integrity - at the same time as you are flexible and pragmatic, aiming to move forward and create progress. Navigating in a large organization - influencing and networking with both internal and external stakeholders comes natural to you. Another strength of yours is to combine strategic ability with an operative mindset - as well as possessing a high level of business understanding. Since you will be speaking and writing in English at a daily basis, being fluent in English is required.
