Job description
Epiroc will increase the focus of how to digitize the supply chain; to get a more efficient, agile and customer-focused supplier base.
If the vision of Industry 4.0 is to be realized, must most of our processes become more digitized.
A critical element will be the evolution of traditional supply chains toward a connected, smart, and highly efficient supply chain ecosystem.
We are therefore looking for a Global Sourcing Application Manager Business for the Purchasing process (Purchase to Pay) with the mission and ambition to develop/change, maintain and improve the application portfolio within the purchasing process. Focus will be on Supply Chain digital transformation, standardization between the divisions and roll out standard applications globally in Customer centers, Product companies and Distribution centers.
Current standard applications that today are included in the application portfolio for purchasing:
- Supplier Collaboration Portal
- Pipechain
- Medius Flow
- Qlikview (Purchasing)
- Contracts & Agreements
This position reports to the Epiroc Purchasing Council Chairperson and will work in close cooperation with the Global Process Manager Sourcing as many standard purchasing applications will be rolled out as satellite applications in the MORE project (roll out of M3 in all CCs, PCs and DCs)
The main mission will be to:
Maintenance Management
- Drive the maintenance activities for existing and new applications in a cost-efficient manner, with full responsibility for an agreed yearly budget and maintenance plan
Support
- Coordinate/safeguard 1st and 2nd line support for functional questions, including coordination of training material and set-up for training session.
Change Management
- Propose, consolidate, prioritize and prepare change requests based on business requirements
- Coordinate/validate new versions and proposed upgrades of application software from business perspective
- Coordinate/safeguard functional verification after changes and SW(Software) upgrades
Operations
- Manage disaster/recovery demands, Secure maintenance documentation and Follow- up and report including KPI's and total business application cost (TCO)
- Coordinate hand-over activities from Projects to Maintenance
Educational and experience requirements
University degree with some years of experience from application maintenance management (pm3), purchasing process and project management.
The ideal candidate should also have a strong customer focus and a solid purchasing and sourcing understanding.
Good command of English (verbal and written) is a must.
Personality requirements
We are looking for a dynamic and result oriented person with an openness to changes and who works pro-actively. In order to be successful, you must have a high level of personal drive and strong analytical skills. This position requires very strong communication skills, work effectively via teleconferences with global team members, and work closely with local colleagues, and present performance results to upper management.
You have a great ability to work in teams and good leadership skills.
On top of this you have a positive attitude and you firmly believe that there is always a better way!
