mySewnetTM is our ecosystem of products and features connected via WiFi, designed to support our consumer in their sewing and creativity. No matter if you are in your sewing room with your sewing machine, by your computer, in your sofa with your tablet or on the bus with your smart phone; mySewnetTM enabled products and features are connected and make it possible to be creative with your sewing from anywhere.
Under the guidelines of the Global Brand Director mySewnetTM, the Global Product Specialist supports developing the brand innovation, product development strategies and training development for the mySewnetTM brand.
Primary Accountabilities:
• Create content increasing sales for machines and aftermarket utilizing mySewnetTM functionality or channels, targeted at being shared by the marketing service team through all channels from mySewnetTM blog to social media and web.
• Articulates concept statements for innovation and uses sewing experience, and market- and consumer knowledge to prioritize ideas.
• Part of mySewnetTM team, visualize and execute the construction of a consumer centric ecosystem.
• Is an active participant in validating product development feature sets based on consumer insight.
• Responsible for creating the content and copy for educational materials for new mySewnetTM product launches.
• Supports the marketing services team, with helping create educational/inspirational consumer content for various channels such as social media, websites and the mySewnetTM blog.
• Assess training needs through surveys, interviews with employees, focus groups, or consultation with managers, instructors, or customer representatives.
• Organize, or develop training procedure manuals, guides, or course materials, such as handouts or visual materials.
• Develop embedded project files for mySewnetTM ecosystem and mySewnetTM enabled machines.
Qualifications:
• Four-year college degree preferred
• Expert knowledge in sewing and embroidery machines, sergers and other related products.
• Good understanding of the overall SVP portfolio to properly cross market products and aftermarket items in content.
• 10-25% travel required
• Self-directed, motivated and the ability to organize multiple tasks and projects
• Computer skills including Microsoft Suite products
• Good communication skills, including comfort in group environment
