The position
ArjoHuntleigh's ambition is to establish a solid organic growth. One integral part of this ambition is to develop and refine our product portfolio. We are therefore looking for a Global Product Manager with an urge to understand our customers and our markets to develop a strong product portfolio and product brand values in our category for Patient Handling and Mobility Solutions.
In this role you will be responsible for developing and refining an assigned part of the portfolio within the Patient Handling and Mobility Solutions. You will manage the assigned segment's portfolio from a holistic approach, from cradle to grave, in conjunction with senior management and key ArjoHuntleigh stakeholders. The role includes both a strategic and operational dimension, and your assigned product category is a multi-million SEK revenue business.
Among your key tasks will be:
• Develop the segment strategic direction and drive the execution
• Manage an agreed budget set for specific objectives
• Initiate and deliver Product Development Programs (PDP) relevant to the portfolio
• Manage the on-going product stewardship
• Provide monthly reports on key segment activities
• Provide monthly financial reports on portfolio
• Communicate to and build constructive relationships with all relevant internal and external parties, suppliers, opinion leaders and customers
• To perform all activities in compliance with relevant Quality System standards and maintain post marketing surveillance information
• Any other duties reasonably requested to deliver business needs in jobholder's area of expertise
The location is ArjoHuntleigh's global headquarters in Malmö, Sweden.
International travel is estimated to 60-70 days per year.
The ideal candidate
As ideal for the position you are have at least 15+ years of job experience, out of which at least five years in similar senior business management roles. The job holder will be required to have a Product, Commercial, Business or Marketing Management background with good numeracy.
Some of your key characteristics include:
• A degree in Business, Marketing, or Science / Engineering is preferred, together with high computer literacy (MS Outlook, web searching, MS Excel and MS Powerpoint)
• Ideally experience of marketing or selling in medical devices industry
• Experience of market analysis and customer research.
• Competent at leading projects involving cross functional teams and global markets
• Capable of developing, presenting and gaining approval for key product strategies at Senior Management level within the central team and Product Manager/Marketing Manager/Director level in direct and indirect markets.
• Possess ability to develop excellent working relationships with key personnel, especially with the leadership and Sales & Marketing teams in markets and within the Supply Chain/Engineering Support functions.
• Good analytical and communication skills, self-motivation, a pro-active and resilient attitude and a good negotiating ability are required.
• Fluency in English, spoken and written. Knowledge of Swedish is favorable, but not required.
