You will take charge of and set up a broad set of functions related to the IT governance framework itself, its structures and processes, along with other areas of responsibilities within asset, communications, procurement, performance & portfolio management. As the Global IT Governance Manager you are reporting directly to the Business Support & Governance Director, but also have a dotted reporting line to the CTO.
In your role as Global IT Governance Manager you will work in close cooperation with the Operational Business Support, CTO, the service development team, Procurement and the business stakeholders; ensuring IT process & quality management in a range of areas. You will establish an effective governance framework, defining spheres of significance, thus enabling good decision making as well as coordinating the alignment of a solid Business IT strategy.
Your focus areas will also include the proper managements of assets- and licensing, procurement support, performance- and project portfolios, as well as solutions- and service quality assurance. Asset Management really is a key focus area to ensure proper management of hardware and software assets, from utilization until compliance. As a process owner authority, you will also, provide communication related to the IT strategy towards key stakeholders. You will have direct reports that may be in different geographical location.
The person we are looking for is committed, focused on business outcomes and are self-directed and performance driven. We believe that you are a challenger and a supporter at the same time, with high integrity. Your mindset is both strategic and business minded, and you have an analytical and facilitating approach. You are proactive and creative and have a solution driven and problem solving attitude. We also believe that you have an excellent understanding of organizational development and the role of IT related to Business Operations. In this role it is important that you are a mature leader, are able to create stability and administering a direction for virtual direct reporting.
Professional qualifications/specific knowledge;
• University Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Track record of IT Governance Management, process management and organizational development experience
• A well-developed understanding of licensing management related to the utility and lifespan of hardware/software assets
• Outstanding communication skills, especially in selling and presentation
• Good leadership experience as well as team skills
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills are a must, as English is the working language
