The inventory analyst will be part of the Global team and support with analysis. The purpose is to coordinate and support activities to optimize and reduce our global inventory to reach the divisional target - special focus on Parts Lifecycle Management connected to supersessions and replacements.

Your mission
Your mission in the role of Global Inventory Analyst for the Parts & Services Division is to coordinate and support activities to optimize and reduce our global inventory to reach the divisional target. Holistic and global view to ensure good phase-in and out with a total cost perspective. You will support the global team with analysis, identifying and implementing actions, follow-up on progress and reporting results.
Global co-ordination of supersession and replacements throughout the parts Lifecycle. Purpose to secure a good availability, speed up phase-in (time to market), and phase out and to minimize obsolescence and improve total cost for Epiroc. In this role you handle, execute and monitor stocking requests during the introduction phase Global Distribution Center/Regional Distribution Center. Provide analysis to support inventory actions globally connected to Lifecycle Management and to part replacements. Support activities related to changes in part lifecycle phases (introduction, growth, mature, and decline) for high value items. Evaluate proactive actions to update settings in ERP and inventory planning system at the right time to improve phase-in and phase-out to ensure a good balance between inventory and availability. Identify inventory reduction/improvement opportunities and support a successful implementation for global initiatives. KPI follow up - global phase in of high-value items (planning by exception), global inventory of items replaced and the availability and obsolescence. You also support the month-end inventory analysis, support implementation of actions to solve process and system issues and with documentation.
As an Inventory Analyst you collaborate with various interfaces mainly within internal aftermarket organization (i.e. MDM, Engineering, Project Managers, Technical service, Inventory Optimization Expert, Regional Demand Planner, and Global Supply Hub).

Your profile
You have a University degree in Economics/Business Administration, Supply Chain/Logistics, Marketing or Engineering, or equivalent experience required. Strong English communication skills both verbal and written. If you had good knowledge of inventory management, experience from working with inventory management systems and/or ERP systems like M3, Blue Yonder/JDA and Syncron Inventory (GIM) that would be an advantage. You also have good knowledge of Excel.
To succeed in this role you shall have a strong personal drive, with the ability to work independently. You have great communication skills both in speech and writing and use the network around you to achieve results. You are analytical, like to identify improvement opportunities and better ways of doing things. You are customer focused, proactive and results oriented. It is important that you have a structural way of working and can manage multiple project plans and activities. You have an interest in working internationally and have excellent interpersonal skills and understanding of different cultures. Willingness to travel occasionally.
