About the job
As our new Global Sales Business Manager, you will have the overall responsibility for our PureNOx Prime business. The product is launched and the first systems are already sold. Your task is to continue to build on the success we have had so far and thus ensure a good market introduction when the first systems now are to be started, and also continue to drive product improvements which will be key for future success.
End-to-end responsibility for the business areaAs Global Sales, you are responsible for driving and optimizing the business, including:
Leading the business with the application engineers and other interface to ensure continues improvement
Driving Sales Companies for new business opportunities
Business planning where you define product strategies, activity plans etc.
Develop and improve our sales & marketing material
Product launches and optimization in close dialogue with customers
Being involved in new product development
You will have a very broad interface across the company, and will collaborate with our sales companies as well as with our E&S and R&D. Further, this is a great international opportunity as the business cover markets all over the world - and you will thus travel approximately 60-80 days a year.
The challengeYour challenge will be to remain application leader within this area and continue to be the preferred supplier for engine makers.
Since this is a new application the key focus is to grow the business and sucessful start-up of the first systems for this application. It will be important to be close to the market and follow future demands and trends since things are developing at a fast pace.
Experience You probably have a university degree with a technical background. You are a senior professional with technical interest preferable with marine experience or knowledge, with a minimum 5 years' experience from adequate business. Strong interpersonal communication and negotiation skils as well as lLeadership experience are benefit, however a deep motivation to lead and develop a team is of most importance. Fluency in English is a prerequisite.
You thrive in an outgoing role where you reach out to many parts of the organization as well as engage in technical discussions with customers. You have the ability to sell your ideas, and the drive and passion for the business and the products in order to succeed. You are target oriented, work proactive to get results and takes ownership for the business.
