Overview
As a part of our Away From Home organization within the Global Hygiene Category, we are searching for a Global Brand Innovation Manager to develop and deliver innovative new solutions to better meet the needs of a defined target audience. You will work in a marketing / technical partnership to lead prioritized concepts through all stages of the innovation funnel from concept to launch which will be executed by the regional teams. Cooperates closely with the Global Brand Director, lead markets, Market Research, R&D and others to create strong 8 quarter launch plan to drive company sales growth and reach overall SCA targets.
Specifically working in the Away From Home market for SCA's global Tork-brand in the Kitchen and Dining Arena. This role has a focus in casual and fine dining spaces where napkins are a core product.
Location is Gothenburg, Sweden.
Main Tasks
Inputs into overall product strategy.
Recommend the assortment vision & ambition to the Global Brand Director.
Build consumer & customer insights & propose market research.
Use global segmentation & positioning to identify gaps vs competition.
Discover, develop and evaluate new territories /new concepts that enable a balanced flow of activities entering the 8 quarter launch plan.
Recommend product & solution innovations that build on key brand features & design to Global Brand Director and validate with key marketing communities.
Support Business Unit growth and monitor cost saving initiatives vs innovation funnel.
Propose innovation project organization & resources to the Global Brand Director.
Act as Project Manager for relevant innovation projects through all stages of the innovation funnel.
Develop assortment, claims, pack design and price positioning.
Develop communication theme, creative execution and media mix with the markets.
Key Competencies
You have a minimum of 5 years’ experience from a similar role in an international environment.
You have a background from either the Away From Home business, HORECA, marketing or branding. Proven skills in development and delivery and strong experience in running multi-function teams effectively. Experience from FMCG is beneficial as well as running projects from concept to launch. Furthermore, you are creative, communicative, analytical and keeping your deadlines.
Fluent written and verbal English is a must; additional languages are an advantage.
