Assign Steel Technology AB has its focus on the Automotive market, delivering specialists in the area of Manufacturing & Mechanical Engineering and Project management. We have extensive experience from implementing production lines, providing robot-engineers, virtual manufacturing, working with stamping dies, as well as BiW and assembly equipment. In addition the company is well established among the large suppliers to the OEM?s where we have delivered specialist knowhow in the above fields. As many of our customers are international we carry out our assignments across the globe.

We are now looking for a Geometry Engineer at our customer's site in Gothenburg.

Assignment Description:
Responsible Geometry Engineer within Trim Car and Final.
Provide up front input to both styling and product engineering to
enable competitive styling, dimensional and perceived quality, manufacturability,and reduced manufacturing complexity.

Requirements:
1. DTS & Tolerancing
2. Measuring & MP-drawings
3. Drive Process Driven Product design and align
the CEVT/Geely ME/SE community to ensure "one voice"
of manufacturing tolerance requirements.
4. Support the Matching & TPC process, give input to resolutions
and keep track on all related issues.
5. Accountable to reach and report the dimentional targets according
to DTS within CEVT/Geely.
6. Give input to the DTS from a Manufacturing point of view
and approve the DTS from ME side.
7. Partipicate in engineering meetings.

Software and IT:
Team center RDnT, CM4D Catia MP drawing skills

Personal attributes:
• Minimum of 3/5 years experience of dimensional and geometry assurance
• Manufacturing plant knowledge and experience for at least 5 years
• Cross functional assignments
• Subject experience concerning the production of single parts,
assembly concepts, manufacturing methods, design features,
clamping concepts, planning processes, quality requirements,
measuring methods for bodies and complete veichles.

You have a good knowledge of MS Office. It is also important that you have a very good social skills and passion for working with people from different cultures. We work where our customers are, which often means that our staff weekly commutes, so driving licences and habit of commuting is a must.
