Responsibilities and duties
1.Plan and organize the field and greenhouse experiments, select and prepare the experimental site, and related supplies and activities for experiments.
2.Collaborate with other members of plant testing and R & D teams, investigate and collect experimental data, and analysis of experimental results, and select and find target products through field testing.
3. Conduct market investigation and research, market vision analysis and forecast, exploring the potential market trends used for products promotion.
4. Organization and execute the field exhibitions and commercial promotion activities, and related technical advice and support services.
Qualification
• The ideal candidate possesses an undergraduate degree in Agronomy or business related field.
• Good interpersonal skills with teammates, clients and skilled workers.
• Need to be proficient in Chinese and English, and good command of written English and Chinese. Fluent speaking is a plus.
• Familiar with the current situation of rural China and custom culture.
• Have the knowledge of ecological agriculture and cultivation, like field use of fertilizers, irrigation and pesticide applications.
• Open for intensive traveling domestically and globally, it's better that have valid Chinese Driver's License with clean driving record.
• Able to run common statistical analyses, including Analysis of Variance and Regressions.
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL AND MENTAL FUNCTIONS:
Physical Requirements:
• This is a full-time permanent position, and required education at least Bachelor's of agriculture or related degree.
• Ability to work outdoors in hot, cold, dry, muddy, windy or dusty conditions.
• Ability to sit at a desk and/or computer or work standing for extended periods.
• Willingness to drive a personal vehicle (mileage will be compensated) on a daily basis between work sites.
Mental Requirements:
• Ability to work with frequent interruptions and changes in workload priorities, ability to prioritize tasks, ability to maintain confidentiality
• Should have an eye for details and spatial patterns.
• Must hold a valid driver's license.
• Must be willing to maintain a flexible schedule.
