Quality, focus and unambiguousness are crucial. Sentient has developed a series of tools to ensure both effectiveness and efficiency in these processes.
The work is focused on solving specific integration problems by using these tools. An Agile Software Development approach allows a continuous delivery of improved functions and complete products. Integration work must be reusable to allow and manage development loops.

To achieve good quality and software robustness, it is vital that the overall product function requirements are broken down into sub-function level requirements. The sub-functions need to be checked to make sure that they meet these sub-function level requirements. We are now looking for two function developers that can contribute to the robustness and verification of our range of software products.
Primary responsibilities
The role contains these main tasks:
• Analyse and test the whole product function for robustness.
• The analysis and testing is primarily made analytically and in simulation, but finalised by vehicle tests.
• Analyse and test functions and subfunctions for requirement fulfilment.
• Derivation of requirements for subfunctions to ensure overall function.
• Analyse and test that the subfunctions are robust over the whole range of usage involving function performance as well as numerical problems.
• Develop test environments for automated robustness tests.
• Documentation of the robustness studies.
Skills and requirements
You need to have:
• A degree in engineering with work experience from the vehicle industry.
• Experience in Matlab/Simulink.
• A very analytical mind and an interest in technology.
We would also like you to have:
• Knowledge in vehicle dynamics and/or
• Knowledge in vehicle control engineering.
