hela Sverige Visa alla jobb hos European Law and Economics AB i Stockholm We are seeking one or several full-time research assistants who will begin employment during the fall of 2012 or early spring of 2013. This position entails work on theoretical and empirical research related to competition, innovation and energy economics. Your responsibilities would include performing statistical analyses on large databases, programming simulations of theoretical models, and proving theoretical results. The candidate should be a graduate in Economics or Econometrics (master level), with strong skills in econometrics and microeconomic theory. This position is initially limited to 6 months. Deadline for applications: December 1, 2012.

The Center for European Law and Economics is a private research center conducting advanced and innovative research in economics and econometrics. The director of CELEC is Dr Mattias Ganslandt, Associate Professor of Economics. The chairman of CELEC is Professor Sten Nyberg and the vice chairman of CELEC is Professor Lars Henriksson.
CELEC focuses on the law and economics of competition, intellectual property and international trade. We provide analysis to private and public decision makers both at the national and international level.
CELEC performs academic research, commissioned analysis and advisory tasks in advanced projects and processes. We believe in evidence and thorough scientific analysis as a solid foundation for decision-making. Our mission is to offer insights that help stakeholders better understand how markets work, using state-of-the art methods and novel perspectives.
Our research is conducted by PhDs in economics with help of research assistants and junior economists. CELEC is in a phase of rapid expansion in Sweden.
