Your Crew
You'll join a dynamic team, responsible for the development and verification of FPGA for satellite onboard and ground support products, equipments and sub-systems. You will join us in changing and refining the way we work in an innovative industry with endless opportunities for improvement. Your Mission
• analyses and understands the internal and/or external customer requirements for FPGAs
• understands and applies the FPGA requirements and FPGA design engineering processes and flows
• manages tracing of FPGA requirements towards system requirements level
• grasps and fosters the interdisciplinary and x-functional developments and pro-actively interfaces with adjacent system, software, hardware and technical lead engineering teams to drive technical concepts, modularity, synergies across products, projects and technology choices
• develops and implements the architecture concept/design for the FPGA of satellite onboard and ground support systems, equipments and sub-systems
• develops the verification approach for the FPGA
• interfaces with adjacent system, software and hardware development teams to secure maximum synergies between system, software and hardware validation tests and FPGA validation test
• strives for modular and customizable solutions, empowers product variants, fosters technology- USPs as well as product- USPs and pro-actively interfaces with adjacent innovation directorate to drive new product ideas
• generates the FPGA development documentation and data-packages
• participates in meetings with customers and subcontractors, and when necessary, manages technical issues related to FPGA
• takes the technical, budgetary and schedule responsibility for the fulfilment of the assigned engineering tasks including the handover to other disciplines and teams

Your Story
Musts:
• experience and good knowledge in FPGA design and development in VHDL for complex and reliable designs, including synthesis and place and route.
• ability to set up trade-off's regarding cost, time, quality, performance, etc., based on the combination of the customer's need and the projects budget
• ability to document and describe the FPGA designs from a customer's perspective
• education in Electrical/Software/Aerospace Engineering, M.Sc. level (or corresponding experience) with a proven expertise and track record in FPGA design
Nice to haves:
• experience in design and development of satellite onboard and ground support solutions, including space industry standards like ECSS.
• experience with agile methods or experience as team leader for agile teams
• a cross-competence profile that can support other roles within the development team like HW design or SW design.
• experience in verification with SystemVerilog / UVM or UVVM(OSVVM)
• deep knowledge in telecommunications and digital signal processing
