We are looking for a talented and motivated individual to join us in the field of WTG blade development. The Fleet engineer will extract learnings from portfolio into design requirements as well as support R&D projects on blades and support our Blade Engineers on projects.
Some examples of the tasks performed in this position.
Support blade engineer in technical due diligence
Develop inspection and repair program in blades by analysis of inspection data
Support manufacturing QA/QC as necessary.
Evaluation of inspection reports, prioritizations of repairs and execution
Support and develop aerodynamic models and load assessment in connection to root cause analysis, yield optimization and life-time assessment.
Your external focus will be on staying up to date with all technological developments of especially inspection, modification and repair of blades. You will also support the Technical Fleet Managers with the turbine supplier with the target to improve performance and life-time of our blades.
Required Qualifications
Masters degree in mechanical or electrical engineering is preferred, but others will also be considered
Newly graduated engineer or with few years? experience in wind or background in aerodynamics. Practical experience will be considered a benefit
English (business fluent), any other language of EC&R regions of advantage
GWO training + potentially IRATA or similar or willing to complete
