Infrastructure & Operation, Site Göteborg is looking for a First Line Manager, IP Mainframe
Position description:
We are looking for candidates to First Line Manager position, with experience from leading people in global organization.
Infrastructure & Operations, I&O, is part of Volvo IT and our main responsibility is to provide infrastructure solutions to support our customers' business. High customer satisfaction is achieved through global consistency in service delivery and customized offerings. With our global presence we can offer efficiency through globalization and standardized infrastructure such as platforms, processes and tools.
Mainframe has been part of the Volvo business for over 40 years and is supporting customers with infrastructure and technical specialists for a variety of financial critical systems.
Our customers systems support everything from industries to financial institutes and there is a mainframe environment covering each state in life.
The group consists of Infrastructure and Production Technical Specialists, Architects and Engineer within the Mainframe area.
As a manager of this group you will have responsibilities in the site dimension as well as have responsibilities in the global functional dimension.
It is desirable that you have experience within following areas:
• Lead people
• Manage employees through coaching
• Use active feedback to develop employees
• Recruitment and salary setting
• Competence and personnel development
• Finance responsibility
• Implementation of functional directives
• Productivity and efficiency at the site
• Purchase and invoice approvals
• You will be a member in site management team and in the global functional management team
Qualifications:

• Experience of running business with financial responsibility
• Experience of delivery responsible to internal and external customers
