Develop next generation platform for Self-driving cars

About our R&D - System Design & Integration
Our department consist of around 120 people that are responsible for the Active safety platform for enabling driver assistance and collision avoidance functions. We are also responsible for making Autonomous Drive become reality for the customer. To make this happen we are working closely with different stakeholders, function responsible, software developers and sensor team responsible for restraint safety. within our team we have several core areas as System design, software architecture and software Integration & verification.
We are now looking for a Fist Analyze engineer
You will be one member in a group of 25, divide in smaller team. You have a solid test experience within system design and software. You have a big passion for our customer and cars. We see that you are skilled in automated testing and work with continuously integration (CI) for system and software.
It's important that you are a structured, and self-motivated team player that will contribute and collaborate. You want to be part of quality assure our deliveries by verification and validation in next generation premium Volvo Cars.
This is a broad area which gives you a great opportunity to build a solid and holistic vehicle control view and deeper develop your skills within automated testing and CI. You will take part in test case development and test requirement writing, planning and coordination. Your role and initial tasks will be based upon the competence and experience you bring into the team, but independently of your tasks you will need to collaborate with many different teams and individuals, both internal and external to the department.
Your key tasks
As a analyse and test engineer, you will define test strategies and secure verification and validation of our system design and software. You will solve complex problems with an analytical, systematic approach. In your work you need to be able to work in a structured way, have a clear communication and has easy to connect to stakeholders. You need to have the ability to balance expectations and needs for the test environment. It's a close collaboration between teams working with development of sensors, software, sensor fusion, applications and system design.
Do you fit the profile?
You have strong analyse skills for delegating tasks or directing the work of others. Keen attention to detail is important and you are highly organised - especially when planning out a complex verification with many components involved. You have ability to communicate and work well with others to ensure functionality in their design and be able to meet strict deadlines. You are a structured and self-motivated team player that will contribute and collaborate.
You have
* Master of Science within electronics, mechatronics, software or similar.
* Minimum 6 years of experience from verification of software and system design.
* Experience in agile development.
* Experience within verification of system safety standards e.g. ISO26262, SOTIF.
* Experience within automated verification of SOFTWARE and system design.
* Experience within creating tool chain for verification e.g. CI.
* Experience from different tools and protocols e.g. Ethernet, TCP/IP, CAN.
* Experience in writing test cases in e.g Python, Simulink or C/C++.
* Good communication skills in English (speech and writing)

* Driver's license "B", valid in EU.
