We are currently looking for a new colleague to join our brilliant finance team as a Financial Controller! As a Financial Controller you will be responsible for our accounting function and much more. You will make sure all the numbers are correct and that the accounting is done correctly. Do you love to dig into piles of numbers and accounts? We'll provide you with a pink shovel and welcome you to dig at foodora market!
WHAT YOU WILL (BUT NOT ONLY) DO
• Responsibility for the accounting function and reporting, according to LGAAP and IFRS
• Lead the work with our financial audits
• Ensure and improve internal control, financial processes and scalable structure
• Actively work together with the Accounting Manager and Business Controller in order to improve working methods, system support and financial processes overall
WHO YOU ARE
• Solution oriented - You will come across many challenges where your ability to solve problems will be useful
• Priority skills - You can think strategically and prioritize what needs to be done and when
• Communication skills - You are skilled in communication, which leads to many good collaborations
• Responsible - You take responsibility for your tasks and decisions, and always aim to do your best in every situation
QUALIFICATIONS
• University degree in a quantitative field such as Economics, Accounting, or Business
• You probably have several years of experience from a similar role
• You have previously worked with annual report preparations and you know what it implies to close a company
• You have worked with audits and are used to communicating with the tax authority
• You can communicate fluently in English and Swedish both verbally and writing
• It is an advantage if you have knowledge in SAP
• It will be considered a plus if you have been working for a large international company and you are used to tight reporting deadlines
• It will also be considered a plus if you have experience from a company within online retail
Start date: As soon as possible.
