The position
In your role as Finance Manager you report to the Transition Finance Director and manage a team of resources in Sweden, Denmark and the shared services center in Eastern Europe. Key activities will include:
US-GAAP Accounting
• Maintain a disciplined account reconciliation process.
• Coordinate account analysis / review process for Scandinavia Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss.
• Responsible for US GAAP and Swiss statutory reporting.Statutory accounting
• Main contact for auditors in Scandinavia.
• Ensure HQ profit targets.Credit Management
• Lead Scandinavian Credit & Collection Team.
• Functional Manager for Cash Application Team.Internal Control & Audit
• Maintain Scandinavian internal control documentation. Treasury
• Functional Manager for Scandinavian Treasury accountant.
• Cash flow forecasting and reporting.Tax
• Main contact for tax advisors on Scandinavia.
• Support preparation and submission of Scandinavian VAT & Intrastat returns. Risk Management/Insurance
• Maintain all Scandinavian insurance programs.Legal
• Lead Scandinavian Legal & Corporate files.
• Responsible for the fulfilments of Scandinavian legal corporate requirements.

To be suitable for this position we believe you have a minimum of ten years experience in finance, including general accounting and financial analysis. You have a good working knowledge of commonly used IT-systems and have a demonstrated technical and analytical application of accounting theory. You are a strong communicator with ability to interact with all levels of management, customers and suppliers. You are fluent in Scandinavian languages and English and find it inspiring to work in a multi-cultural matrix environment.
