The site Finance Manager demonstrates leadership in communicating business goals, programs, and processes for an area or business segment. In this role you will utilize your experience and expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for the GRS Europe Finance team. The finance manager works with operations leader to deliver on short-term and long-term business goals and strategies.
Essential Responsibilities:
Creation, analysis and control of operating plan. Analysis of deviations with respect to the actual results
Ensure best estimate for planning purposes by modeling various scenarios.
Responsibility to control the budgeted base & variable costs at site.
Reporting to HQ of month-end numbers and analysis on ways to improve financial position (growth, costs, etc.)
Liaison with Operations to ensure appropriate accounting
Continual interaction with the company's other global businesses as both a supplier and a customer
Respond to client ad-hoc requests for customized data and reports in a knowledgeable and flexible manner
Generate and enhance routine reports that meet client business needs by conducting thorough needs assessment with business stakeholders
Drives controllership between finance and operational teams for assets, liabilities, revenues, costs & weekly pacing estimates
Perform & support Account Reconciliations - provide timely and accurate reviews
Comply with necessary regulations in the reporting process using knowledge of applicable statutory and GAAP reporting requirements
Leading the annual audit and liaising with KPMG for the statutory accounting
Ad hoc projects for the region are in scope for this position up to 50% of the time
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Proven years of experience in a finance position
Languages: Swedish and English (Fluency in both required)
Desired Characteristics:
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Masters of Business Administration is preferred
Systems proficiency
