The Finance Graduate program
If you are up for the challenge of developing our future Finance function and want to be a part of the innovative world of Volvo Group, this is the graduate program for you!
During 12 intense months, you will get an end-to-end perspective of our Finance functions and how we co-drive the business, both from a local as well as from a Volvo Group perspective. From day one, you will have a permanent role in one of our organizations, where you will play an active role in daily deliveries. In parallel, you will participate in a number of common training weeks with the other Finance graduates throughout the year, do various job rotations to increase your insights of the Volvo Group and last but not least you will grow as a person. Your professional and personal growth will be supported through individual and team development sessions, mentoring, coaching and feedback.
You will take a deep dive into some specific areas of our business, which will help you get a holistic view and build your future career within the Volvo Group. Besides your manager, who will guide and support you in your daily job, you will have a supportive network of peer graduates, colleagues across the globe and senior leaders to help you excel. Job description
As a Business Controller at Volvo Group Digital & IT you will be a part of the Business Control function consists of 45 professionals located world-wide. Volvo Group Digital & IT Finance is an interesting place to be in especially during periods of change and transformation. With a new product centric operating model and digital technologies, we will produce digital offerings that are profitable, scalable, and differentiated. We provide the financial information and analyses required to operate effectively and efficiently and to support the business planning and the decision-making.
You will be highly involved in creating an efficient and trustful day-to-day operation. You will be closely interacting with and provide financial advice/support to management and managers in the Volvo Group Digital & IT organization as well as contributing to the overall transformation of Volvo Group. Aside of being a true co-driver to business you will also be part of contributing to enabling the digital transformation journey, contributing to areas such as automation, future innovation, and advanced analytics.
Who are you?
We are looking for the next generation experts and leaders within the Finance field, who wants to make a real difference to society. You are passionate about what you do, have a curious mind and are willing to learn. Just like us, you thrive on teamwork.
You should be able to actively cooperate with management and various stakeholders and navigate with ease in a multi-cultural environment. You have a strategic and long-term mind set thinking in everything you do. You have excellent skills in telling a story based on financial information in a way that is understood and actionable for management. You can with ease shift between having good insights in financial statistics to out-side-in perspective.
Required knowledge/experience
You have a BSc or MSc degree in Finance, Business or similar fields
Fluency in business English, spoken and written
Maximum two years previous working experience prior to, or after graduation
A valid work permit for the country to which you apply (if not a citizen)
