We are offering a job in ABB Motion Service for Field Service Technician, who will be providing technical support for our customers within South region in Sweden, delivering superior, professional service, remotely or on-site and operating as valuable team member at the workshop in Mölndal.
Your hands-on experience and knowledge of customer needs will help you not only to build strong customer relationships, but also to actively identify and develop new business opportunities.
Your responsibilities
Providing remote or on-site technical support for customers, carrying out condition checks, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on electric motors and generators
Exceeding customer expectations by appreciating and anticipating current and potential needs
Troubleshooting potential equipment failures and proactively taking measures to offset/prevent and inform internal partners
Install Smart Sensors for more accurate performance and energy analyses, adding value for energy savings and preventive maintenance
Coordinating logistics of resources and spare parts for the jobs
Suggesting product and process improvements within the business to enhance operations and customer service
Your background
Sound knowledge of and hands-on experience in servicing, maintaining, commissioning, and repairing of electrical motors and generators
Knowledge of vibration analyses is an advantage
A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken Communication skills
Structured and organized approach and ability to work well both independently and with others
A Standard Solution Group (SSG) certificate is an advantage
Fluency in Swedish and English languages
Ability to travel within Sweden and Drivers licenses is a requirement

ABB Service Workshop in Mölndal is one of the 5 workshops in Sweden where ABB checks, repairs and maintains motors and generators. Our customers in the southern region are located from the northern part of Värmland down to Smygehuk. We carry out preventive maintenance and repairs of rotors, stators and entire motors of various brands, both in the workshop and at the customer's site. Unique to the workshop in Mölndal is that it is EX certified for high and low voltage motors and generators.
