ROLE DESCRIPTION
As a Field Service Engineer, your Key Responsibilities would be:
• Carry out the commissioning of equipment including any operational and maintenance training requirements
• Respond to emergency breakdowns for any warranty and service contract work.
• Report regularly to the EMEA Team Leader on all relevant issues and for PDR objectives.
• Provide a visit report for each customer visit, detailing work completed, outstanding issues, time spent on site, travelling etc., and help to ensure that all chargeable work is invoiced to the customer promptly.
• Authorise system 'buy-off' prior to shipment either with or in the absence of the customer.
• Liaise with technical support and systems engineering on any potential or actual system problems.
• Liaise with Sales Team to provide useful background information.
• Help to maintain an accurate record of the status of systems, timing of warranty, parts supplied and service contracts.
• Keep up to date all relevant enquiries and project files on any significant information.
• Provide detailed and accurate record of expense incurred on behalf of the Company.
YOUR PROFILE
• Formal electrical/electronic/ mechatronic qualification (e.g. qualified electrician).
• Working experience and relevant training as a Field Service Engineer or Customer Service.
• Ability to interpret Electrical and Mechanical drawings. Ability to trace signals and components using Electrical schematic diagrams.
• Experience of 3 phase HV (415 - 440 V) and LV electrical commissioning and fault finding.
• Good PC / PLC experience preferred.
• Experience of Semi-Conductor or closely related high-Tech electronic industry is a plus.
• Fluent English speaker and good knowledge in Swedish. Another European language would be a plus.
• Driving licence.
• Willingness to travel up to 90%.
• Able to work on own initiative.
• Clear & concise communicator.
• Able to prioritise multiple tasks.
