The Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) department is a part of Global Purchasing within Volvo Bus Corporation, with the responsibility of driving key strategic initiatives to secure top class supplier quality. We interact closely with the operative SQA functions within the business regions at Volvo Buses, and with the Volvo Trucks SQA team

Main activities and responsibilities:
• Develop a governance model and monitor and secure all Purchasing deliverables within field quality projects
• Develop the way we involve our suppliers early in quality projects
• Implement and drive new ways of measuring our suppliers' quality performance
• Analyze market quality reports from the end-user perspective & drive root cause analysis
• Be an active member in various quality forums
• Help drive and align the SQA work in our different business regions
• Help developing the SQA strategies within Volvo Buses
• You will be reporting to the Vice President SQA within Volvo Buses
