Business description
Vehicle Productivity verifies and validates customer features in projects that have an important focus on enhancement of vehicle lifetime productivity for the truck end customers. The team working with the Driving Performance features; Fuel Economy, Average speed and Drivability, is important to keep and strengthen our leading position on Heavy Trucks around the globe.

The team's deliverables are technical reports from physical and virtual testing activities and definition of measurable customer requirements as well as Feature status based on these requirements in Projects.

Work description
We are looking for a Feature analyst Engineer (analysis and simulation competence) who will focus on the new CO2 legal directive for trucks. The role has both theoretical and practical content and hence gives a good possibility to try the theories in reality and really get the feeling for how things work from an end customer perspective.

Main mission
• Perform simulations and make analysis within the virtual tools related to the CO2 area as well as to some extent develop the tools used.
• Being key-user and organise and administrate tools and databases within the area.
• Write and be responsible for necessary documentation within the area
• Take part in discussions of how to organize legal follow up activities of the regulation like Conformity of Production (COP) and SiCO and deviation handling
• Involvement in the physical air-drag testing related to the area

You will also from time to time work with both physical and virtual testing within the rest of the Driving Performance area mainly with Fuel Economy and Drivability. The team continuously strives to improve the knowledge within the feature area and develops the test methods and simulation/analysis tools used.

The position includes occasional trips abroad.

Requirements
• Master of Science in engineering (combined with relevant work experience)
• Good knowledge in English, both oral and written

Good knowledge in statistics and in modelling and simulation preferably in Matlab / Simulink software is a merit as well as post processing of measurement data. Experience from Driving Performance area is an advantage. C or CE driving license is preferable.

Personal profile
For success in this role you are structured and analytical. You have a strong driving force and like the mix of working both independently and together with different types of people. You like to have the possibility of working both theoretical and practical in order to be able to correlate virtual and physical testing.
